For those seeking a career in Computing or to progress to an ICT/Computing programme at level 2, to support Apprenticeship or to employment. This course runs at the Wood Street, Southgate and Colindale campuses.

Applicants must have the following qualifications: 4 GCSEs including either English and maths at Grade D (3) or above. We will consider equivalent qualifications.

You will study 9 units including: The Online World, Technology Systems, Computing in the Workplace, Multimedia Product Development, Software Development, Building a Personal Computer. You will also be required to complete a work placement as part of the course.

Each unit will undergo a variety of assessments internally. Additionally, two core units will be assessed externally via examinations.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Level 2 First Extended Certificate in Information and Creative Technology, which is equivalent to 4 GCSEs.
